Prior to 2012, Jason was an associate working for a large firm in San Diego representing large financial institutions in all manner of property law disputes. Some of his prior clients were J.P. Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Bank of New York. He decided to start this firm in an effort to provide clients with big firm legal skills but boutique firm attention and personalized service.

Jason obtained his law degree from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz. During law school, Jason made the Dean’s list, published a Note in the McGeorge Law Review as a Legislative Review Editor, served as a Mediator for Sacramento’s Small Claims Mediation Program, and attended the International Business Law Program in Suzhou, China.

Jason has been a lawyer since 2007, practicing in San Diego the entire time. Jason is a dedicated, thoughtful, and creative attorney who is devoted to a high standard of professionalism. In his practice, he applies his legal expertise, creativity, and organizational talents to his client’s cases, and he is dedicated to providing his clients with the respect and individual service that they deserve.

Jason is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar Association, and he is admitted to practice before all of the United States District Courts within California. He is also a Certified Mediator under the California Dispute Resolution Programs Act. Additionally, he is a member and supporter of the Electronics Frontier Foundation, the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, the San Diego Zoological Society, and the American Civil Liberties Union.

William Markham is a meticulous and intelligent San Diego attorney who obtained his law degree from Harvard Law School in 1987 and has litigated cases in California for the past twenty-six years. He is a successful trial lawyer who litigates antitrust cases, complex commercial disputes, trademark infringement matters, and complex real estate disputes. He tries his cases when they cannot be settled, and at trial he has obtained substantial jury verdicts and bench verdicts in difficult, challenging matters. He also has significant experience preparing and opposing appeals in cases that he tried in court and has acted as the lead appellate attorney in appeals heard by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California Court of Appeals for the Fourth Judicial District (San Diego).

William also served as an adjunct professor of legal advocacy and legal writing at Hastings Law School as well as an adjunct professor of constitutional law at Lincoln Law School, and he has been a featured lecturer on antitrust law and foreclosure law in classes taught to California attorneys (MCLE classes). In addition, he is completely fluent in French, which he speaks like a native French speaker, and he can converse with complete fluency in Spanish. He uses his language skills in order to communicate with his clients and also to keep abreast of antitrust law in the European Union, Canada, and Mexico.

William is admitted to practice law in California, Washington, D.C., and various federal courts, and he belongs to the following professional organizations: The French-American Chamber of Commerce (San Diego County), the California Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the Bar Association of San Diego County.

Tara Burd is a dedicated and passionate San Diego Attorney focusing primarily in litigation and contract disputes. Tara is a long-term resident of San Diego, who graduated cum laude from California Western School of Law and obtained her undergraduate education from San Diego State University.

Tara is admitted to practice law in the California, as well as in the Federal Court of the Southern District of California. She is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Irish-American Bar Association, Savvy CEO Strategies, the Hon. J. Clifford Wallace American Inn of Court and the Lawyer’s Club of San Diego.
